TCU quarterback Trevone Jeremiah Martin Jersey Boykin was charged Thursday with felony a sault of a police officer, per The A sociated Pre s, and has been suspended for Saturday's Alamo Bowl.Boykin was arrested in San Antonio on Thursday morning after he allegedly was involved in a bar fight and struck a patrol officer. The quarterback was formally charged with a saulting a public servant. He posted a $5,000 bond and was released from custody late Thursday morning.The TCU football team is in San Antonio as it prepares to face Oregon in the Alamo Bowl.TCU head coach Gary Kyrie Irving Jersey Patterson released a statement announcing the suspension of Boykin and wide receiver Preston Miller."Trevone Boykin and Preston Miller have been suspended for Saturday's game due to a violation of team rules," Patterson stated. Per Wilson Chandler Jersey the police report, Boykin then attacked officers at the scene, swinging at one before being taken to the ground. Boykin resisted arrest until officers told him they would use a stun gun on him, according to police.Boykin, 22, has pa sed for 3,575 yards with 31 touchdowns and 10 interceptions this season.
